The Myrtle Woldson Center

Free Street Parking

There is free street parking surrounding the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center on Sharp, DeSmet, Boone, Lidgerwood and other nearby streets.

Box Office Parking

Fifteen-minute visitor parking for the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center is available near the entrance at DeSmet and Pearl.

Passenger Drop Off

A turnaround at the main entrance to the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center allows passenger drop off and pick up while drivers remain in vehicles.  The turnaround may also be used by parties arriving by bus or van. Enter at DeSmet & Pearl to access the turnaround.

Accessible Parking

Campus Lots

Campus lots may be used by event patrons within the following guidelines:

  • On performance nights, parking is free to the public in the "Red" lot just south of the Myrtle Woldson Center. Parking is also available north of the Jundt Art Museum after 5 pm on weekdays and on weekends. Parking in other campus lots without the required permit is not advised, as it may result in a campus parking ticket.
  • Lots and spaces marked with a Yellow “Y” are reserved at all times for campus residents with parking permits.
  • Campus lots within 3-6 blocks of the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center (about a 10-minute walk to the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center) include the lot north of College Hall (enter on Addison or Standard St from Sharp Ave) and the upper floors of the BARC Parking Garage at the corner of Boone Ave and Hamilton St.

Passenger Drop Off

There is a turnaround passenger drop off located just northeast of the Magnuson Theatre, which can be accessed on Standard Street.

Accessible Parking

Campus Lots

Campus lots may be used by event patrons within the following guidelines:
  • There is a dedicated parking lot for the Magnuson Theatre just north of College Hall (enter on Addision or Standard Street from Sharp Avenue).
  • The public may park in campus lots after 5pm on performance days. A limited number of parking spaces are available on the street near the Magnuson Theatre.
  • Lots and spaces marked with a Yellow “Y” are reserved at all times for campus residents with parking permits.
  • Campus lots within 3-6 blocks of the Magnuson Theatre (about a 10-minute walk to the Magnuson) include the lot just south of the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center and adjacent to Jundt Art Museum, and the upper floors of the BARC Parking Garage at the corner of Boone Ave and Hamilton St.
On dates with Gonzaga men’s basketball and women’s basketball games, as well as sold out performances at the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center, parking can be challenging.  Please plan ahead to arrive early for performances or use alternate means of transportation.
